About the Role:

Slingshot is looking for a driven and passionate Web Developer Apprentice to help contribute to Slingshot’s “Response Team”. In this role, you will be able to learn essential skills to help contribute to a production code base. As the Web Developer Apprentice, you will help fix bugs throughout the code base, QA new features that are being released, and help contribute to the stability of the application. Most importantly, you will also have an opportunity to learn the basics of contributing to a large web application, learning a variety of different skills from a group of developers who love to teach.

**Required to be a resident of one of the following states: Idaho, Utah, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Oklahoma**

Requirements

What you need:

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong desire to learn
• Comfort in admitting what you don’t know and asking questions
• Technical Experience
• Basic understanding of Web Development

What you’ll do:

• Help recreate, troubleshoot, and document bugs reported in the application
• Help test new features before they are released
• Pair with other developers on features and bug fixes
• Complete coding assignments and lessons to help learn Web Development
