About SuperAwesome

  • We’re passionate about experimenting with new tech. We’re huge advocates of Node.js, Angular.js, AWS, and Docker.
  • We started in 2013. There’s now 75 of us across 5 offices worldwide (and we’re not slowing down)!
  • The Internet was built by adults, for adults. Our mission is to build the infrastructure for a better Internet for kids, empowering an entire generation to engage online in a safe way (something that really has been neglected over the years). This really matters to us!
  • We’re the only company in the world with a COPPA certified marketing platform.
  • What we’re doing is massively complex and challenging. Our platforms reach over 255 million kids globally each month.
  • We’re well funded. Our superb entrepreneurial leadership team secured another $7m of funding in the summer.
  • We love it when our developers and engineers trial new and exciting technologies!
  • We’re looking to recruit a talented SDK / Web Developer to join our tech team of 20 in our beautiful offices in London Covent Garden, directly above the tube station!
  • Why we’re different

  • You’ll make a significant impact on an entire generation of kids coming online.
  • You’ll be given as much responsibility as you can carry.
  • You can really expand your knowledge, role and responsibilities very quickly. We’re always encouraging those who can develop and grow in their role!
  • You’ll join a really passionate culture who’s daily mantra is: “We get sh*t done – together”.
  • You’ll join a team that has a healthy disregard for the impossible.
  • We don’t believe that Development and Operations are two separate things.

  • What you’ll do with us

  • You’ll work with tons of autonomy and will use your initiative to solve problems across our full product range. From day one you’ll pick up projects which you’ll need to take ownership on.
  • We currently have a talented SDK Developer who has a core focus on mobile, you’ll work closely with him but with core focus on web.
  • You’ll develop and maintain SuperAwesome’s SDK across our main web based platforms. This code is used to display ads which need to be optimised as much as possible!
  • You will make sure quality code and documentation are delivered on the GitHub repo so that other developers find it easy to integrate the company’s ads in their projects.
  • You will liaise with our clients (usually by email) to help them resolve any issues they may face implementing the SDK.
  • We expect you can spot inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • You’ll join us in our Lean and Agile approach with our daily stand-ups and two week sprint cycles.
  • Requirements for the role

  • It’s important that you are skilled, comfortable and proficient in -
    • JavaScript – any modern framework knowledge such as Angular or React is most welcome!
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • Any knowledge of Node.js would be a bonus too
    • A basic knowledge or interest in iOS and/or Android would also be a bonus as you could then help our other SDK Mobile Developer when he’s on leave.
