To help drive Eventbrite’s visibility as a recognized consumer brand we built Rally to serve as the consumer-facing content publication. Under the eyes of the Consumer Marketing team, Rally houses a combination of branded and curated content to promote event discovery and build brand awareness of Eventbrite. Given the success of this Wordpress site, we’re looking for a developer to rapidly build new features, support backend changes and oversee the day-to-day management of Rally.
The Marketing Operations team manages seven international event organizer blogs that offer organizers valuable tools, data and best-practices. The sites are routinely updated with new plug-ins and site features that are implemented by 3rd party developers and our in-house engineering teams. We are looking for support for backend changes and someone to work closely with our third party development team for large infrastructure changes to these blogs.
You will be part of both the Consumer & Operations Marketing teams and working closely with Engineering. Marketing Operations manages our marketing technology suite, systems, and data. It is responsible for driving marketing efficiency through strategic planning, process development, and campaign execution.
The Consumer Marketing team, working directly alongside the Brand Design team are responsible for growing awareness of Eventbrite amongst ticket buyers. Both teams operate using Wordpress sites that are core to our business’ success.
In this role, you’ll act as Eventbrite’s lead WordPress developer. In addition to daily maintenance and fixes, you will work closely with the Marketing Operations team, Consumer Marketing, and our Engineers to help execute new features and maintain Eventbrite’s Wordpress sites. We are looking for someone to join us 20 hours a week for at least 12 months.
