Sales Development Representative
TLDR
Drive inbound/outbound lead generation on a rapidly growing SaaS platform, learn payroll/benefits/HR in depth, and progress to an account executive after about a year.
As the foundation of the sales/marketing team, you'll be responsible for managing all of Zenefits' inbound and outbound lead generation. This includes prospecting, nurturing, and most important of all — selling. You'll work closely with marketing to help manage lead lists, re-marketing campaigns, and more. As a true business consultant, you'll have to learn the ins and outs of payroll, benefits, and human resources ON TOP of our SAAS solution. After a year or less, you'll be given the opportunity to join the sales team as an account executive.

Drive Zenefits’ revenue growth through outreach emails & phone-calls with a focus on setting demo appointments for the sales team
- Research prospect contact information and best ways to get in touch with them
- Nurture and qualify new leads that turn into quality demo appointments
- Cold call, prospect and pipeline building and opportunity identification
- Educate prospects on Zenefits’ HR and benefits solutions
- Work closely with Sales Managers & Marketing on various projects that are in support of the entire sales team
- A graduate of a four-year university
- Proficient in MS Office Applications, Excel, Google Apps, and CRM tools such as Salesforce.com
- Intelligent with very strong written and verbal communication skills
