Account Executive (Tactical)

The WHOOP Account Executive will cultivate and close governmental prospects to help support the WHOOP Tactical vertical. This individual will be responsible for harvesting government leads (inbound/outbound), full government sales cycles, and relationship management. Applicants should have a deep understanding of the governmental procurement process. Prior Military/Government service is preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guide inbound leads through initial WHOOP Tactical procurement conversations
  • Actively grow and cultivate outbound leads for the WHOOP Tactical ecosystem 
  • Maintain a pipeline of mid to high level governmental prospects leading to procurement
  • Methodically manage and maintain all accounts via a CRM (Salesforce) 
  • Work collaboratively with other team members as needed to further develop the WHOOP sales process 
  • Leverage social media platforms (LinkedIn) to tell the story of WHOOP Tactical 
  • Staying up to date with the latest tactics, techniques, and procedures to best position WHOOP Tactical technology  

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of military/federal service preferred (Not required)  
  • Understanding of the U.S. Government procurement and sole source process 
  • 5+ years of governmental sales experience (Active duty or civilian) 
  • Understand DoD/Federal rank & structure 
  • Experience speaking & presenting to high ranking government officials
  • Excellent problem solving and written communication skills
  • Unconventional thinker, problem solver, and high EQ required 
  • The ability to travel
  • The ability to hold a governmental clearance
