Account Manager- OTA
TripAdvisor is seeking an Account Manager to join a very motivated team that manages and develops our Key Account OTA partnerships in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the regional Group Head of Sales, OTA, you will be responsible for strategic partner relationships and driving revenue growth. You will represent the company in day-to-day partner contacts, growing revenue across the full suite of TripAdvisor commercial products including Display, Meta-Search and Sponsor Placements and improving long term relationships to meet both team and department goals
- You will develop and execute growth strategies; track and monitor performance; drive analysis to identify areas of risk and opportunity; foster strong relationships to avoid attrition
- You will work with senior and day-to-day levels of management both with the partner and internal teams
- You will work with the Client Partner Team (Sales) at the close of a product deal (Display, META or Sponsored Placement) to transition the partnership to Account Management; working on the launch, integration process and optimization of campaign performance
- You will work closely with the Client Partner Team (Sales) and cross-departmentally to articulate the needs of the partner base and foster a collaborative approach across the broader Sales business to driving increased investment from partners
- You will work on the retention, contract negotiation and contract extensions of the assigned partners in the account portfolio
- Deliver a consistent client experience by identifying, communicating & implementing TripAdvisor products within the assigned client portfolio
- Identify optimisation opportunities through data analysis for improving performance and implement marketing solutions grounded on achieving measurable business results for our partners & growing TripAdvisor revenue
- Devise an account management program for the assigned book of business
- Guide media marketing strategy, planning & implementation of TripAdvisor products to deliver against agreed KPI’s.
- Some business travel will be required.
Requirements
- Experience in sales/account management with successful track record of driving revenue growth for partner accounts
- Travel background preferred: online travel agency, B2B, or airline/hotel supplier sales/account management
- Outstanding analytical, numerical and problem solving skills, must be able to use data to identify underlying trends and make informed commercial decisions
- Flexible and open to change and new information; adapts behaviour and work methods accordingly
- Grasps the essence of new information; recognizes own strengths and weaknesses; pursues self-development; seeks feedback
- Solution based approach to sales/account management with a good understanding of technology
- Strong customer focus and relationship building skills
- Exhibits integrity though fair and ethical behaviour toward others and a demonstrated sense of corporate responsibility and commitment
- Treats colleagues and partners with respect: considers and responds appropriately to the needs, feelings, and capabilities of different people
- Excellent background in working with senior management, including C-Level executive
- Clear communication through expression of facts and ideas in a clear, convincing and organized manner
- Identifies and analyses problems; distinguishes between relevant and irrelevant information. Strong organization skills and intense attention to details such as billing and contract terms
- Ability to balance time to market with a solution and make the right trade-offs along the way
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office products including Excel, Access, Power Point
- You are creative, proactive and self-motivated, compelling and “executive level” eye for business
- Proven track record in influencing multiple stakeholders to get things done
- Strong commercial instinct and entrepreneurial drive combined with ability to be creative, take initiative and take calculated risks
- Capacity to identify and keep up to date on global trends that effect industry and organization
- Can be relied upon to ensure that projects within areas of specific responsibility are completed in an appropriate and timely manner and acknowledges mistakes, learns from those events and is able to move forward productively
- Good business judgment when making decisions and always considers the relevance/impact of each decision on the business
- Fluent in English - other European languages a plus
