No surprises, just predictable, reliable vaults.   About the Role Gauntlet is seeking an Accounting Lead to help scale and strengthen our accounting function during a period of continued growth. This is a high-impact role responsible for owning key accounting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and driving operational excellence across the organization. As an Accounting Lead, you will serve as a critical partner to the Controller, overseeing month-end close activities, financial reporting, revenue and expense accounting, and audit readiness. You will also work closely with our Onchain Accounting Lead to support on-chain accounting operations, digital asset accounting, and other crypto-native accounting processes. As the accounting team grows, you will help improve processes, establish scalable controls, and provide oversight and review of work prepared by junior accounting team members. You will provide day-to-day guidance, review work prepared by junior accounting team members, and help establish best practices across the accounting function. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong traditional accounting expertise with an interest in crypto, digital assets, and emerging financial technologies.
