Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
As a passionate and hands-on AP Specialist, you will be a vital part of the accounting team owning a myriad of responsibilities. Your focus will be to ensure that we follow the highest levels of accuracy and compliance in processing AP transactions. You will be playing an integral role in ensuring that vendor invoices are properly recorded as well as promptly responding to both internal and external customers’ requests. Your duties include daily transactions processing and month-end financial reporting. You will have expertise in your area and support efforts to improve the financial processes.
You have a strong understanding of AP processing solutions and are able to analyze and process transactions in an efficient manner. You are strong at communicating promptly and clearly to business owners. You will report to the Accounting Manager.

Core Qualifications
- Relevant experience of 4+ years focused on AP processing
- Adept at establishing and maintaining relationships with key vendors
- Detail oriented and understand basic AP controls (i.e. 3-way match)
- Timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices
- Ensuring invoices are coded correctly using Glowforge chart of accounts
- Research and resolve vendor inquiries and statement discrepancies
- Resolve invoicing exception issues
- Consistently produce high quality work and accurate results
- Experience working with other cross-functional teams to consistently resolve customer/vendor issues
- Solid Excel skills and systems skills to be able to extract and analyze data
- Must have a systems background working with AP platforms
- Ability to accurately prepare AP Aging and other reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Eager to develop a world-changing company with us!
- Experience with reconciling accounts, processing transactions, and performing basic accounting functions
- Record information for use in controlling expenditures
It Would Be Nice If
- You have prior accounting experience with a global manufacturing company
- You have experience with AP automation processes
- You are personally excited about what Glowforge is building
- You love making things with your hands – 3D printing, knitting, woodworking, furniture building; it doesn’t matter what
