AI-assisted Junior Project Manager

Hi,

We are Monterail - a team of ~ 130 experts working together to create meaningful software.
As a software agency, we collaborate with multiple clients, so as a Junior Project Manager, you will most likely run a few projects simultaneously.
We specialise in 4 main industries Fintech, MedTech, HRtech & E-commerce. 

Our Delivery team is 7 PMs and 3 Delivery Managers — and we're growing.

We are opening a Junior Project Manager role with a specific twist: at least half of your projects will be AI-augmented.

What does that mean? In some of our projects we use AI tools like Claude, Claude Code connected to our repos to handle the work that used to take hours: drafting tickets, summarising calls, surfacing risks in git history. 

We are looking for someone who is excited to utilise AI in their projects but also work in traditional set-up of projects.

You will start by shadowing in a few projects, then gradually take ownership of your own. 

Within ~6 months, we expect the ability to manage projects independently. 

Requirements

Project work - what will you do? 

• help build web and mobile applications from prototyping through delivery
• coordinate a project team of Backend, Front-End or Mobile Developers, supported by QA Specialists and Designers
• organize project workflows and facilitate regular meetings - stand-ups, sprint plannings, retros
• act as a project advisor, balancing the client's roadmap and communication with our internal possibilities 
• set the project flow using different tools and methods 
• work with client budget sheets and gradually take ownership of project schedule and delivery (with senior support at first)
• monitor risks and actively look for inefficiencies
• challenge your team and client to balance product quality with work efficiency
• work closely with a Tech Lead to tackle technological complexity and prioritise the backlog
  

AI- augmented work - what will you do? 

• use Claude (and similar tools) to draft Jira tickets, refinement summaries, decision logs and client updates 
• turn long call transcripts into structured decisions, action items and follow-ups without losing nuance
• spot when AI output is wrong, vague or hallucinated, and rewrite it
• maintain memory files for each project so context doesn't live only in your head
• help us improve our internal AI workflows. You will have direct input into how we use these tools at Monterail

Skills:

Must-haves

• 6–12 months of relevant experience - junior PM, associate PM, scrum master, product analyst, project coordinator, or a software developer in web/mobile or similar areas 
• communication - proactive, friendly and assertive
• tech-savviness and hands-on use of Claude Code, Cursor or another AI coding tool
• english C1 (speak and write) - 99% of our teams and clients communicate in English
• active interest in AI tools - genuine interest and use. We will ask what you use and what you've automated.
• good understanding of how web and mobile products work - backend vs. front-end, what an API is, what makes software quality high or low
• critical thinking and ownership 
• awareness of Agile and Scrum - you don't need a certification, but you should know why a daily exists and what a retro is for

Nice-to-haves

• Basic coding skills 
• Polish C1+ — most of our team is in Wrocław, but we operate in English

Salary 

• B2B PLN 6,000 - 8,000 netto + VAT
• UoP PLN 4,980 - 6,640 brutto
