AI lead

HeyScience SA (Lausanne, Switzerland) is looking for a Head of AI to help us build an AI research assistant for scientists that can learn to specialize into any research field.

• You will research and develop innovative AI technologies in the field of scientific knowledge engineering.
• You will identify and test key AI technologies to support our product roadmap.
• You will work closely with the Product Team to ensure that the AI technology meets customer needs and expectations.
• You will work with the Head of Engineering to define workflows for packaging and deploying scalable AI solutions in cloud environments
• You will report directly to the CEO.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in computer science, mathematics, or engineering or 2+ years in industry
• 2+ years of practical experience in the areas of NLP, ML, or Knowledge Graphs
• 2+ yrs. Experience with Python-based AI frameworks (e.g. tensorflow, PyTorch)
• Experience / deep understanding of deploying ML models into modern cloud computing frameworks (e.g. Azure)
• 2+ years of experience in building and managing teams of experts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced and agile environment
• Ability to present complex technical material to non-technical stakeholders
