American Football (Jukes) Digital Brand Creative Strategist

Wave Sports + Entertainment is seeking an experienced creative brand leader to develop and execute our Football (Jukes) brand & programming strategy. The Football (Jukes) Brand Creative Lead will be the brand architect and catalyst to help continue to develop the brand by innovating new avenues of growth. In this role, you will refine our brand identity, build a compelling content strategy that aligns with the brand vision, and lead the execution of programming and community building efforts across social and digital platforms. You will foster a collaborative environment with the social content and originals teams to continue to create viral content while concepting new ideas and strategies to expand audience demographics and reach.
You will lead the team to retain our current loyal fans and communities and ensure our content evolves with our audience (13-34 year-olds) as they mature, while simultaneously pioneering new work that will inspire and connect with the next generation. The Brand Creative Lead will provide subject matter expertise and will partner closely with sales, marketing, partnerships, and strategy & operations teams to make decisions that will drive performance of the brand, directly leading to the accomplishment of annual goals. Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage implementation and execution of Football (Jukes) brand strategy
- Develop a programming strategy and content calendar in alignment with the above brand principles.
- Drive consistency with the vision, mission, and purpose of Jukes Brand
- Execute projects in partnership with key cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Partnerships, Revenue, Marketing, Betting, etc.)
- Direct a team of content creators to create unique, engaging, optimized content in line with brand strategy and goals
- Collaborate with external partners to create and execute promotional or organic content campaigns
- Collaborate with Platform and Development leads to optimize output strategy for assigned vertical
- Manage and prioritize projects autonomously, using time and resources efficiently
- Leverage knowledge of Football and social media landscapes to maximize content engagement and exposure
- Direct programming strategy in a fast-paced environment that is reactive to sports and culture
- Collaborate with the sales department to develop and execute compelling branded content campaigns.
- Leverage analytics to optimize programming strategy and output
- Meet brand, revenue, partnership and other internal/external targets.

Qualifications
- Expert in successfully building + scaling brands across digital platforms
- 7+ years brand management with a minimum of 3 years focusing on digital/social creative strategy, programming, and creative content development.
- Deep understanding of Football culture and the professional landscape
- A problem solver who can influence across teams to prioritize the right ideas/programs for the brand.
- Expert in managing the creative and programming strategy of viral social media across Snap, FB, YT, IG, and other social platforms, and using data to inform and optimize content output
- Impressive analytical skills while promptly establishing priorities and communicating expectations to team members
- Deep understanding of content production from concept to completion
- Expertise in understanding content and media that drive viral engagement with the Millennial/Gen-Z audience
- A passion for Football, pop culture and digital/social media
Physical Requirements
- Capacity to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as copy m
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Work is sedentary and involves sitting most of the time.
Work Environment
- If required to work at any Company office, location, or with any Company employee, the individual must provide written proof of COVID-19 vaccination from the vaccine administrator or a CDC vaccination card, which includes the vaccination place, date(s), and name of vaccine.
- If required to work in the office, the individual may be exposed to variable lighting conditions (brightness or darkness) and noise during productions when in office
