Meridiam Green Impact Growth Fund
The creation of Meridiam Green Impact Growth Fund (GIGF) stems from the conviction that companies leading the ecological transition will also be the leaders of tomorrow's economy. GIGF is a growth private equity fund dedicated to the support of fast-growing European SMEs, with proven business models and strong management teams. GIGF specifically targets companies providing breakthrough solutions in five segments: low-carbon economy, clean mobility, smart and sustainable cities, circular economy as well as agrotech and foodtech. It will invest initial tickets ranging from €5m to €30m. The fund is currently under deployment, with two investments completed and another one under exclusivity.
Thanks to Meridiam’s first-rate track record on supporting sustainable goals since inception, GIGF will be uniquely positioned in the market as an impact-oriented financial partner of choice for companies addressing the ecological transition in the “real economy”. Enshrined in Meridiam’s strategy to act towards a low carbon world, and beyond financial performance targeted, the portfolio’s impact performance will be monitored and measured over time. GIGF will have a highly skilled investment team of 7 people led by Eric Rey and seasoned professionals in private equity and venture capital.
