Android Engineer
TLDR
Requires extensive Android expertise to lead mobile app delivery in a lean, fast-moving startup environment, with CI, automated testing, and REST API integration.
Has at least 4 years relevant industry experience. Start-up experience is a plus. Is an expert in Android with a deep technical understanding of the fundamentals of the platform. Has experience working with many of the popular first and third party frameworks common on the Android platform. Has experience shipping and maintaining mobile apps for a long time with the knowledge and ability to prioritize and make the tradeoffs necessary to ship a successful mobile product. Has experience from continuous integration and automated unit and UI testing as well as beta deployment of mobile apps. Is used to working with REST APIs from Android client apps. Would only want to work in a lean, agile and fast moving environment. Is curious, always eager to learn, and open to new ideas as innovation is critical to our success. Is fun. We like to have a good time at Podio, otherwise we wouldn’t come to work everyday! Loves and understands technology and keeps on top of trends. Is a team champion. You deflect praise to those involved and absorb criticism of the product.
