API Inspector
- Reviewing and verifying the MTCs and consumables certificates and any other required documents.
- Perform Visual, dimensional and witness NDT inspection of the raw material when required.
- Witness NDT: this may include, but not be limited to, RT, MT, UT, PT, and VT for any activities requested by COMPANY.
- To follow ITP (inspection Test plan) submitted by COMPANY.
- To provide the inspection report within 24 hours maximum or as agreed with COMPANY after the completion of the activity.
- To witness the hydrotest and/or pneumatic test.
- To perform Blasting / Painting inspection.
- To inspect the name plate / Final packaging and Shipping.
- To sign the inspection book.
- To perform any other Inspection / witness task as stated in approved ITP
- Having a relevant engineering degree.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as in inspection of piping and static equipment.
- Valid AWS-CWI or equivalent certification.
- Valid NACE CIP or equivalent certification.
- Valid APl-653, API 510, and APl-570 certification.
- Valid NDT certificates RT, MT, UT, PT, and VT.
- Extensive knowledge of industry standards including AWS, ASME, API codes, Aramco specifications and standards.
- Any other relevant certifications as required for the Inspection task.
- All the Inspectors used for the service shall be interviewed and approved by COMPANY.
- Western API inspectors shall have the nationality of America, Canada, Europe, Singapore or South Africa.
- Eastern API inspector include Indian, Arabian, African nationalities and any other nationality not included under western API inspectors.
