Application Engineer (m/f/d)

TLDR

Support and optimize customer-facing vacuum control applications for optical plasma systems, develop lab infrastructure, and train teams across regions.

  • Customer support on application topics with focus on optical plasma systems and Pirani measurement systems
  • Detailed analysis of customer issues, failure analysis, and creation of reports
  • Development of laboratory infrastructure such as pump stands and test sequences
  • Responsible for setting up, testing, evaluating, and improving customer-near vacuum control applications
  • Provide technical support and training for sales and product management, as well as application engineers abroad
  • Creation of application reports
  • Participation in development projects, and related activities through validation testing and reporting
  • Technical education, preferably in field of physics, electronics, automation, or microsystems technology
  • Continuing education HF, engineer TH or studies in physics, electronics, or material science
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm in measurement technology, electronics, and in semiconductor processes
  • Fluent in English
  • Solution-oriented, flexible, and team-capable personality
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent communication skills and intercultural adaptability
  • Flexibility in working across various product lines
  • Willingness to travel (about 10 %)
