Position Description

We're looking for a candidate eager for an opportunity to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment with teammates focused on supporting the operations of the server application environment.

Our team will mold responsibilities based on your performance, so you could be tasked with assignments or projects that are at a comparable level of difficulty to those that our application support engineers are responsible for. Some of the essential duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Assists with the troubleshooting, triaging and monitoring of the application and interfaces
  2. Works with members of the development teams on projects from request through design, coding, testing, documentation, training, implementation, and follow-up
  3. Follows project development life-cycle standards in implementing projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, communicating with users and interpreting their requirements into specifications
  4. Develops documentation and maintains materials, where appropriate
  5. Works to develop and update processes and procedures for new and existing interfaces
  6. Proactively identifies data flow issues and/or other technical issues, and works with appropriate internal teams to restore traffic flow

Requirements

  • Experience with cloud-based web (SaaS) applications
  • Knowledge of network and web application protocols (TCP, VPN, HTTP, SFTP, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and strong knowledge of version control and object-oriented concepts.
  • You should be passionate for working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, team-oriented Agile environment.
  • Experience working with a relational database is a plus.
  • Understanding of support methodology
  • Must posses proficient troubleshooting skills, customer service skills, and attention to detail.
