About the Role  

Our Assistant Account Executives are our entry level agency staff who partner daily with project managers and various account leaders to learn about the agency business (operational and delivery excellence, efficiency and speed to market) as well as the client’s business (competitive understanding, basics in client data and metrics, etc.) Assistant Account Executives should be proactive and resourceful.

What You’ll Do 

  • Learn about key agency disciplines such as Media, Production, Strategy, Program and Project Management, Creative, etc.)
  • Provide administrative support, including status reports, meeting scheduling, event planning and budget tracking
  • Effectively utilize internal and external research capabilities, including social media platforms and other emerging communication resources. Research and identify influences for client initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage for clients and prepare reports. Develop media lists. Pitch trade and appropriate media
  • Draft news releasees, pitch letters, case histories, etc.
  • Basic analysis of client business results and competitive landscapes
  • Begin to “manage the making “of communications assets and understand Ogilvy’s processes

What You’ll Need  

  • 0-1 year of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective collaboration skills
  • Demonstrable passion for all aspects of the agency’s business
  • Strong skills in research and analysis
  • Willingness to take on new challenges
  • Detailed oriented and reliable

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $35,000$75,000 USD
