To further strengthen our finance team, we are looking for an Assistant Financial Controller. As an international company in the online learning industry, we offer a young and dynamic work environment where learning and development take centre stage. 

About the role 

As Assistant Financial Controller, you play a key role in our financial operations, ensuring our processes run smoothly. You will work closely with the finance team and report to the Financial Controller. A role with plenty of responsibility — and variety. 

Key responsibilities 

• Administrative tasks for national and international entities 
• Supporting standardised financial control processes 
• Contributing to month-end and year-end closings 
• Processing bank entries and managing banking administration 
• Managing accounts payable 

Requirements

• Knowledge of and interest in administrative processes and financial procedures 
• Completed MBO / HBO / WO degree in finance or administration 
• Independent and proactive work attitude with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy 
• Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus 
• Experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required 
• Experience with Business Central is a plus, but not required
