Assistant Securities Trader

The Assistant Securities Trader is a member of RF Brokerage Unit which is responsible for the strategic trading and sales operations at RF Group.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Demonstrate a sound general knowledge of the investment environment within The Bahamas, Regional and International Markets

· Research and monitor various publicly traded companies and current developments in the international and Bahamian Market

· Prepare market data for clients and business partners that promote product education

· Interact with network of clients to ensure consistently strong communication and accessibility regarding product offerings

· Grow client portfolio through innovative and proven sales strategies

· Prepare reports demonstrating portfolio performance and market factors

Key Qualifications & Experience:

· Series 7 qualification required

·  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Master of Business Administration (MBA)

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position is a strong asset

· Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

· Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite programs

· Ability to work in a self-motivated environment with little supervision

· Must be a team player

· Ability to manage the administration of multiple tasks at one time

· Excellent customer service skills

· Must be detailed oriented with strong critical thinking skills

· Must demonstrate knowledge of the local markets
