The Opportunity: Associate, Client Treasury & Reporting
The Client Treasury and Reporting Associate is a critical member of the Client Treasury & Reporting Team, which helps manage the financial affairs of several Family Office clients by providing bill pay, accounting, and reporting services.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Help team prepare materials for annual budgeting and planning processes; help team manage delivery of all financial statements, cash flow reporting, and forecasting.
- Help team provide overall financial oversight and monitoring, including historical analysis, development, and implementation of financial policies and internal controls.
- Assist team compile spending trends and budget reports on a quarterly
- Work closely with other Client Treasury & Reporting (CT&R) team members on invoice processes and
- Help Client Treasury & Reporting with BillPay and Cashiering This task will take up to 50 percent of candidates time. Subject to change based on client needs.
- Work closely with CT&R Leadership on vendor management, including negotiations, requests for proposal processes and approvals.
- Partner with client team on processes and workflows to deliver premium client
- Compile general ledger entries, including allocations and
- Maintain monthly close schedules, communicate with client employees to stay on target with deadlines and client expectations.
- Review monthly reconciliations of bank, brokerage, and credit card
- Develop into a subject matter expert regarding financial policy and procedures, including sharing and maintaining best practices.
- Compile tax requests with the client’s
- Develop thorough understanding of client’s expectations and preferences to ensure tailored
- Promote and ensure respect for client privacy and confidentiality in all
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience, with at least 1 year in comparable role at family office, wealth management firm, or similar organization.
- 2 or more years owning a general ledger. CPA license strongly preferred
- Proven ability to work thoughtfully, collaboratively, and independently in fast-paced and high-volume environment with goal-oriented emphasis on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong problem-solving and analytical
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft
Location: San Francisco, CA
Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $130,000 - $145,000 together with a discretionary bonus, health insurance, paid time off, 401k participation with a company matching program, wellness stipend, personal education allowance as well as a commuter benefits program.
