Associate Director, Investor Delivery - Private Equity
Reporting to the Director, Nexus, Investor Delivery, you will:
- Support senior leadership with achieving department initiatives, projects, budget adherence
- Support team in department deliverables while ensuring adherence to company and department policies and procedures relating to investor registration, dealing, reporting and cash.
- Ensure the IO team supports the client integration process, and the experience is professional and positive for all parties involved.
- Manage as appropriate any sensitive or escalated queries/concerns from Clients, Investors, Fund Managers or internal MUFG Departments adhering to a high-quality standard.
- Work with both the internal AML team and administrators to ensure all AML requirements are met. • Review and sign any schedules, reports, and files for review, ensuring they are completed in compliance with organizational controls.
- Allocate resources to ensure that all work is carried out and Service Level Agreement is met.
- Manage and support the individual performance of direct reports through regular one to one meetings, regular performance discussions, career coaching and development as requested, annual performance reviews as per company standards. Assist direct reports with the performance management and development of their teams. Foster a professional environment of encouraging personal and professional development.
- Be part of internal Client Relationship (CRM) framework and participate in regular service review calls with assigned Client(s), CSMs, and other internal departments.
- Champion initiatives within your team, encouraging participation, constructive feedback and idea generation from the team members.
- Create ideas for improving processes, technology and reporting
- Participate in multiple system initiative and projects

- A university degree in Finance or Accounting.
- At least 5 years' experience working in the fund administration industry with experience managing staff. This can include other administrators, investment managers or fund auditors.
- In-depth understanding of Fund industry.
- Demonstrate an ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve complex issues and provide, guidance, assistance and training when required.
- Client/customer service management experience
- Experience and knowledge of investor operations
- People leadership skills
- Strong PC-based experience, proficiency with Microsoft Excel is particularly an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional written and verbal communication skills when dealing with Clients, Investors, colleagues
- Demonstrate business logic and risk adverse approach to resource management and operations
- Demonstrate team management experience in Investor Services, fund administration or related industry
Preferred
- Good knowledge of private markets (private equity, private debt and real estate)
- Experience with Investran or Yardi
