Associate Director, Partner Success

TLDR

Lead strategic enterprise partnerships in fintech/digital payments to drive revenue growth and multi-functional collaboration across product, analytics, and operations.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise merchant partnerships, driving performance across revenue, transaction volume, profitability, customer acquisition, and overall business growth.
  • Develop and execute data-driven account strategies, leveraging market intelligence and performance insights to identify opportunities for expansion and increased engagement.
  • Partner closely with executive stakeholders to design and optimize omnichannel payment experiences across digital, mobile, and in-store environments.
  • Lead business reviews and strategic planning sessions, presenting actionable recommendations and performance insights that support informed decision-making.
  • Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities by aligning evolving partner needs with available products, services, and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product, analytics, marketing, and operations teams to advocate for partner needs, resolve challenges, and contribute to future innovation.
  • Support contract renewals and commercial negotiations while maintaining strong, long-term relationships that create mutual value.
  • Utilize AI-powered insights and predictive analytics to forecast performance, uncover growth opportunities, and personalize engagement strategies.
  • Travel up to 30–40% as needed to support client meetings, strategic planning sessions, and relationship-building activities.
  • Requirements

    • 12+ years of experience in strategic account management, partnership management, or client success roles, including at least 7 years focused on eCommerce environments.
    • Proven track record of managing enterprise-scale partnerships within fintech, digital payments, eCommerce, retail technology, or related industries.
    • Fluency in both written and spoken Mandarin is required to effectively support and communicate with designated merchant partners.
    • Strong experience influencing executive stakeholders and driving measurable commercial outcomes in complex, matrixed organizations.
    • Deep understanding of Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), digital payments, consumer financing, checkout optimization, and merchant operations.
    • Demonstrated success developing and executing growth strategies, including cross-sell and upsell initiatives across large partner organizations.
    • Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
    • Experience building account plans, marketing activations, forecasting models, and performance-driven partnership strategies.
    • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and strong familiarity with forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial documentation processes.
    • Experience using AI tools, automation platforms, or advanced analytics to improve decision-making and partner engagement.
    • Ability to thrive in high-growth environments while demonstrating collaboration, adaptability, and strong business judgment.

      • Annual base salary ranging from $135,000 to $150,000 USD.
      • Additional commission opportunity, with on-target earnings (OTE) ranging from approximately $175,000 to $195,000 USD.
