Associate, Merchant operations & Assortment strategy

Own key merchant app features, scale assortment, and lead regional initiatives to drive sales growth through data-driven operations.

We are looking for a data-driven, highly organized, and execution-focused Associate, Merchant Strategy & Operations to join our team. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of commercial growth and operational excellence. You will be the central owner of key merchant app features, scale category assortment, and lead critical regional initiatives to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Feature Ownership: Act as the business owner for key merchant app features; collaborate with Product and Tech teams to optimize merchant tool adoption, feature rollouts, and overall merchant digital experience.
  • Assortment & Campaign Scaling: Drive and monitor category-specific assortment growth (SKU health) and merchant deal penetration to maximize user conversion and platform selection.
  • Operational Centralization: Streamline processes across local teams to minimize duplicated efforts, ensuring best practices in catalog quality and campaign deployment are standardized regionally.
  • Performance Monitoring & Analytics: Actively track and build dashboards for key performance indicators (SKUs, campaign ROI, tool adoption rates, and onboarding quality) to provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Sales Operations, Merchant Operations, Growth Operations, or Management Consulting within the E-commerce, Q-commerce, or Ride-Hailing industries.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis (Excel/Google Sheets is a must; SQL or Tableau knowledge is a plus) to monitor SKUs, deals, and financial metrics.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of managing cross-functional regional projects, managing stakeholders across different team
  • Mindset: A builder's mentality with a sharp eye for operational efficiency, scalability, and eliminating waste.
