About the Position

Golden State Group is looking for a driven, results-oriented aspiring sales professional to assist in generating and developing new sponsorship sales revenue across multiple properties, including Golden State Warriors (NBA), Golden State Valkyries (WNBA) Chase Center, Thrive City, Santa Cruz Warriors (NBA G League), Golden State Entertainment and more. As an Associate, Partnerships Sales, you will play a key role in the Partnerships team and report to the Senior Director, Partnerships.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop deliverables on behalf of Sales representatives
• Maintain and organize department deliverables archive
• Work with Partnership Insights to manage outreach campaigns on behalf of Sales representatives
• Generate and manage meeting volume and scheduling for Sales representatives
• Research, identify, and track sponsorship prospects regionally, nationally, and internationally within target industries and segments
• Support Partnership Development and Partnership Insights teams to ensure fulfillment of client deliverables
• Work in tandem with departments across organization to bring potential new revenue streams to Sales Leadership teams
• Provide weekly reporting of sales metrics including pipeline generation, account status, revenue and quota attainment, and relevant sponsor interaction
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, or equivalent work experience
• 6 months of partnerships or sales experience preferred
• Able to demonstrate consistent history of exceeding goals and expectations
• Preference in experience with fully integrated sponsorship packages utilizing a variety of assets including (i.e. entitlements, in-venue visibility, digital media, broadcast media, social media assets, etc.)
• Strong internal drive and work ethic; willing to go above and beyond to deliver for the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate, influence and build positive relationships within a multitude of business environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and efficiently lead and prioritize multiple projects at once

Time Commitment

• Ability to attend select Warriors and Valkyries home games as well as special events

Compensation

• $20.43 per hour + Bonus
