Auction Manager
Be part of the fastest growing team in the Collectibles and Alternative Investment Industry. The Auction Manager is a critical role in achieving unparalleled sale results through thoughtful and strategic auction management. This role will work directly with the Client Partnerships and Cataloguer teams and own the auction construction and management. As a central role in enhancing the customer experience, Goldin is looking for someone detail-oriented, has extensive experience with Google Sheets and inventory/sales systems, and loves the hobby.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support Sales and Operations teams in the organization of the consignments and layout in upcoming auctions
- Work on auction schedule creation and overall auction creation in regards to lot numbering, lot overview and proofing, and pricing and authentication reviews
- Assist and takes ownership in the overall construction of auctions
- Works hand in hand with Sales and Operations teams to ensure items are placed in appropriate auctions according to category and market interest
- Overall quality control of auctions in regards to category placements, descriptions, title, editorial
The scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of postgraduate experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced experience with Excel/Google Sheets
- Able to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Exhibits self-motivation
- Experience with Mac
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ Years of Hobby Experience
