Bazaarvoice
Authenticity Agent (Remote)
This is a remote part-time position, but you must reside in the greater Austin, Texas area in order to take advantage of this opportunity. Authenticity Agents for Bazaarvoice are responsible for detecting and rejecting fraudulent reviews in our network. This involves using a third-party case management system that flags suspicious content. Agents will follow specific procedures, possibly including internet research, to determine whether or not the content should be rejected.
What you'll be doing:
- Detecting online fraud trends in a traditional eCommerce environment
- Monitoring content flagged for risk via case management system
- Analyze and Research flagged content historical trends and origin
- Maintain appropriate submission and item’s worked rates
- Proactively reach out to the appropriate parties for assistance as needed
- Balance attention to detail with focus on speed metrics
- Attend all local training sessions, teleconferences and all-hands meetings
Necessary Skills and Experience:
- Ability to work a set weekly schedule, including at least one shift per weekend
- Experience with email applications, online messaging services and forums, and web applications including Firefox
- Ability to navigate in multiple web-based software applications with relative easy
- Ideal candidate will have previous online fraud prevention or investigation experience
- Strong aptitude to identify fraudulent trends, analyze data and explore new strategies
- The ability to adapt to change in approach and process
- Display job-related dexterity and situational awareness
- Successful completion of background check
- Abide strictly by the company data protection policies
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
- Must reside in the greater Austin Metro area
