JOB TITLE: Baggage Handler

REPORTING TO: Ramp Co-Ordinator

LOCATION: Stansted Airport

CONTRACT: Permanent

HOURS: Full time

SHIFT PATTERN: Set roster 4 days on 2 days off (4 early shifts, 2 off, 4 late shifts, 2 off

PAY RATE: Up to £25,500 per annum £12.19 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

Blue Handling provides Ground Handling services to Ryanair at its largest European base and are currently recruiting Baggage / Aircraft Handlers to join our Ground Operations Team located at Stansted Airport.

These are exciting roles at the forefront of our Stansted operation with a financially secure airline, working airside to deliver a range of critical services to our aircraft and passengers.

These roles are all full-time, permanent positions. No previous airport or aviation experience is required – our training team will prepare you for your new role with both classroom and practical training.

Please note this a shift-based role with shifts around our busy flight schedule that will include early starts, late finishes and weekends, including bank holidays.

Requirements

· Loading and unloading of baggage & service freight from Ryanair Group aircraft so you will need to be physically able to lift items.

· Operating a variety or vehicles around the airport to transport baggage to/ from the main terminal.

· Ensure the airline’s industry leading 25-minute turnarounds are completed safely

· Assist passengers during boarding where required

· Work as part of a team to ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations Requirements

· Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK (Pre-Settled Status accepted)

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Good communication and problem-solving skills

· Full UK Driving Licence essential
