Benefits & People Operations Analyst

The Total Rewards & People Ops Analyst is responsible for providing day-to-day support for a variety of global employee benefit programs. This role requires strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of benefit plan regulations and administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely information to employees regarding benefit plan eligibility, coverage options, enrollment procedures, and benefit claims.
  • Process employee benefit enrollments in Workday and related global systems, changes, terminations, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct benefit orientations and presentations to new hires and existing employees.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve benefit-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the administration of open enrollment and other benefit-related events, globally.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefit records and files via Workday and related global systems and through benefit carriers.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of benefit plans  including payroll reconciliation of benefit entries.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of benefit communications.
  • Stay current on relevant benefit laws and regulations.
  • Conduct annual benefit audits & compliance testing.
  • Assist with the implementation of new benefit programs and plan changes and annual renewals, working regularly and directly with brokers and carriers.
  • Manage leave of absence administration and vendor relationship (US).
  • Participate in HR ops work and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in employee benefits administration.  Global experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with global benefits & leave of absence administration is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Google Workdayspace.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation 

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in:

 Raleigh, NC - $85,000 - $105,000 annually

New York, NY - $90,000 - $110,000 annually

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
