Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Pay Range: $55k to $60k per year

Location: Richardson Office

What You’ll Do:

  • Analysis of productivity and workflows – find improvements and share successful results with the team.
  • Seek metrics that are fair and equate to results and execute with rest of team. (Metrics are key for evaluation of staff and paying bonuses fairly)
  • Educator – be able to identify educational needs and work individually to train on necessary job skills. Will include billing best practices, new regulations, communications (written and verbal)
  • Quality assurance – review call recordings and written communications regularly (spot checks)
  • Meet regularly with each team to discuss current issues/successes
  • Analysis of billing trends by payor and plan. Be nimble and responsive in finding new processes for each payor based on recent trending. Work toward overall denial reduction wherever possible.
  • Responsible for the production and consistency of each staff member.
  • Be objective when staffing changes need to be made based on results or ability to work within our teams or culture.


What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of medical billing and coding experience preferred
  • CPC or CMC certifications preferred
  • Healthcare management degree highly desired
  • Knowledgeable in medical terminology, clinical policies, research of policies, billing best practices
  • Management experience (people and processes), reporting analysis, and leadership training preferred
  • Analysis skills related to job performance, measuring results, and efficiency
  • Team-Oriented: Patience, communication/leadership style friendly, however, adamant about productivity and results
  • Accountability in a non-threatening manner.
  • Constructive criticism and feedback with positive reinforcement
  • Driven, goal oriented, self sufficient
  • Must understand billing compliance in a detailed manner
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Needs to be a motivational leader, setting examples and helping others grow in their role and within the company
