HRF Code: TISB/HRF/BLASTER PAINTER

Education and Qualification:

• Minimum ISQ in Blasting and Painting or equivalent.
  
• Valid Confined Space and Working at Height certification.
• Proven capability to provide blast services in confined spaces and at height.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' working experience in similar position or related field within oil and gas and construction industry.
• Experience in grit blasting, handle and operate power tool cleaning and solvent cleaning.

Communication Skill:

• 
  Good command of English (both spoken and written).

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining paintwork and removing old paintwork using abrasive blasting methods and then applying new coatings with industrial paint spraying equipment.
• 
  To set up and operate a blast equipment and operate machinery and cabinet types of abrasive blasting equipment.
• To set up portable units and prepare work site.
• To operate airless paint spraying equipment for the job to meet required painting specification.
• 
  To abrade surfaces of equipment/piping/structure and to remove adhering scale, sand, rust and dirt as well as to impart specified finish using abrasive-blasting equipment.
