About The Team:
We create content for Refinery29 Unbothered, the sub-brand dedicated to celebrating and serving Black millennial women. Our team operates across several departments including editorial, social and video. We create anything from long-form articles and programs to social assets and videos. We help shape and guide how Refinery29 supports and serves the Black femme audience, delivering on those promises with fresh content, tools, and discussion every day.

What You'll Do:
- Oversee execution of R29Unbothered’s branded partnerships from RFP stage to final product
- Work closely with editorial lead and Unbothered team to develop sellable opportunities and concepts
- Actively participate in and contribute to pre-sale brainstorms for R29Unbothered’s branded campaigns
- Manage multiple programs at once with both strategic oversight and executional task management
- Maintain calendar of sold programs
- Pivot strategy as company priorities and platform landscape change
- Understand client KPIs and work with paid distribution team to ensure client KPIs are met while maintaining editorial integrity of the R29Unbothered brand
- Coordinate with revenue and editorial/social teams to ensure post-sale execution is consistent and accounted for in scheduling
- Liaise with stakeholders, among them project managers, on communicating feedback and troubleshooting as needed
- Write, edit, and optimize social posts across platforms for R29Unbothered branded content
- Schedule all social posts for our branded content across all R29Unbothered social channels
- Execute in-person talent opportunities for branded and occasionally editorial (may include some travel)
- Demonstrate expertise of the platform, serve as ‘bridge’ among all CFX partners by sharing out learnings and best practices regularly
- Problem solve client challenges with flexibility and empathy, but also knowing when to maintain editorial integrity
What You Have:
- 3-4 years experience working as a social media editor for a publisher or a brand
- Expertise programming across all social platforms (including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Instagram Stories, and Snapchat Stories)
- Experience working with brand partners, influencers, and other revenue-driven relationships
- An understanding of how to optimize content accordingly across multiple platforms
- Flawless command of spelling and grammar
- Proven ability to handle a high-volume workload and meet deadlines without fail
