Bryden pi - Costing and Inventory Assistant

TLDR

Support costing and inventory control across Brydenpi and affiliates, driving accurate stock valuation, receiving, reconciliations, supplier claims, and inter-warehouse transfers.

Bryden pi Limited is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position in our Finance Department:

 

                             Costing and Inventory Assistant



The incumbent is expected to assist with compiling information, updating Inventory records for Brydenpi and its affiliated companies.

 

Some Main Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare costing of inventory for approval
  • Receipt of inventory (foreign & local) for both non WMS  and WMS location
  • Update A/P, landing charges and hand written cheques
  • Execute stock adjustment for damages & short shipments
  • Prepare claims and follow up with suppliers
  • Maintain proper communication and assistance with Account team on claims and any other queries
  • Reconcile GL account
  • Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
  • Contact suppliers to resolve shortages and other problems.
  • Maintain purchasing files and reports.
  • Set up and update Inter-warehouse transfers
  • Enter final figures for stock check
  • Enter PO on VAI & receive stock on VAI
  • Ensure checklist is completed accurately and in timely manner
  • Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company

 

Qualification, Experience and Requirement:

  • A’level passes including Math and English
  • Experience in Purchasing / Costing / Logistics is an asset.
  • A minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a demanding fast pace environment will be an asset
  • Or relevant combination of training and experience
  • A valid Police Certificate of Good Character

  • Must be able to multi-task and work under minimum supervision in a demanding environment
