Business Analyst (Data & BI) - Associate

• Extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets from Snowflake using SQL, turning data into clear, actionable insights - not just outputs.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and widely adopted by the business.
• Translate business questions into structured analysis, delivering concise and impactful insights to stakeholders.
• Deliver ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making across multiple business areas, with a strong focus on speed and accuracy.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of self-serve analytics, enabling teams to independently access and explore data.
• Work closely with Data Engineering and other teams to improve data availability, quality, and usability.
• Continuously challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and proactively propose data-driven solutions to business problems.

Essential:

• A degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience with SQL and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to query and manipulate large datasets.
• Fluent level of written and spoken English.
• An understanding of statistical analysis techniques.

Desired:

• Advanced SQL skills
• Interest in sports and/or familiarity with the sports betting / iGaming industry
• Experience with dbt and GIT
• Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Optimove, or similar marketing/data platforms
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g. Omni, Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience working in digital, data-driven, or iGaming environments
• Portuguese and/or Spanish
