Business Analyst (Market Risk
TLDR
Analyze market risk data across asset classes using SQL and Excel, define business requirements, and support trade life cycle from front to back office.
Technical
- Excellent SQL Skills.
- Experience in defining data base objects such as Tables, Trigger, Primary keys, constraints, foreign keys etc.
- Expertise in data analysis using Excel (Vlookup, pivot tables etc.)
- Expertise in data analysis using SQL.
- Experience with SQL developer.
- Exposure to JIRA.
Functional
- Expertise in any one of the asset classes – Equity , Fixed Income, Derivatives(Future, Options, Spreads).
- Experience in talking to various groups and defining business requirements and technical specification documents.
- Understanding of Trade Life Cycle from Front office to BackOffice.
- Understanding of Credit ratings provided by various agencies – SnP, Moody, Fitch.
- Experience in Market Data sourcing.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
