Business Analyst (Remote)

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Analytics, the Business Analyst will conduct spend analysis and demonstrate quantifiable business impact for BenchSci's pharmaceutical industry prospects and customers.
You Will:
- Be part of an internal analytics team, working with account, technical, and science colleagues under the guidance of the Sr Manager Business Analytics
- Conduct spend analysis for pharmaceutical industry customers to build compelling business cases and demonstrate value impact
- Develop and continuously refine research spend related metrics, datasets, and dashboards to provide data-driven guidance for customer business reviews
- Become a knowledge expert on pharmaceutical R&D spending trends and support a multidisciplinary team with uncovered industry and customer insights
- Work in an autonomous, deliverable-driven, and remote-first environment.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or equivalent relevant education
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D
- Strong financial acumen
- Expert in MS Excel
- Knowledge of data and visualization tools (Tableau, Python, Heap) a plus
