Business Development Executive

TLDR

Drive new business opportunities in a fast-paced digital marketing environment by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects across online channels and shaping the client journey.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lead engagement process and supporting business growth through structured outreach and coordination.

  • Identify and qualify potential prospects generated through Facebook, Google Ads, and website inquiry channels
  • Engage with leads through calls, emails, and social media to introduce services and understand client requirements
  • Conduct initial outreach and schedule meetings or product demonstrations for qualified prospects
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to resolve queries and maintain engagement throughout the sales cycle
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and updates in CRM systems
  • Support smooth onboarding and transition of new clients in coordination with internal teams

  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a structured approach to lead management and a willingness to grow in a dynamic sales environment.

    • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles preferred
    • Prior experience in a marketing agency or similar fast-paced environment is an advantage
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional proficiency in Tamil, Hindi, or Kannada is a plus
    • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow professionally
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
    • Proficiency in MS Office or Zoho Workplace tools
