About the Opportunity
New York City (Hybrid 3 days per week in office)
As a Business Operations Associate, you'll keep operations running smoothly for our internal teams and customers. You'll report to our VP of People. Day to day, you'll help keep the financial, legal, compliance, and operational side of the business working as we grow and expand our customer base.
What You'll Own
- Bill pay, AP, and invoice processing
- Monthly close with our outside accounting firm, including customer-facing work
- Reimbursements, equity issuances, and cap-table upkeep
- NDAs, SOWs, and vendor agreements, drafted and tracked with outside counsel
- Procurement across hardware, software, and services
- The ISO 27001 program and annual audits, plus insurance renewals and compliance deadlines
- KPI dashboards and cash models that inform real decisions, plus data-room prep when we raise
What You Bring
- 4+ years in finance ops, business ops, or a related role, ideally at a startup or high-growth company
- You own processes end to end and use good judgment about what to solve yourself and when to bring others in
- You adapt easily as priorities shift and collaborate well across teams
- Hands-on fluency with Claude and building AI workflows
- You automate routine work and build AI into your own and the team’s processes
- Strong systems thinking
- Hands-on financial work: close support, reconciliations, budgeting, and light modeling
- SQL and a BI/dashboard tool, with real data analysis instincts
- Familiarity with tools like Brex, Carta, QuickBooks, Vanta, or DocuSign is a plus
The salary for this role is between $110,000–$150,000/year.
