About the Role
Ramp is in a critical phase of growth. We grew 60X in 2020 and are building out a talented business operations team to ensure we maintain this trajectory for years to come. You will work directly with our Head of Business Operations to drive mission-critical, cross-functional projects across the organization. You will collaborate closely with our Sales, Marketing, Product, Risk, and Operations teams to deliver on ambitious growth goals. This is a key role where you will be uniquely positioned to impact the full picture of Ramp’s growth efforts across all functions.
What You’ll Do
- Solve complex business problems and build / iterate on processes for a wide range of go-to-market and operational needs within a high-growth startup
- Work across Sales, Marketing, Product, Risk, and Operations to execute against Ramp’s growth goals
- Directly support Growth Marketing team to execute growth experiments and analyze key campaign efficiency metrics
- Perform work to inform key strategic discussions such as product expansion, market expansion, pricing, and more
- Analyze unit economics and other cross-functional metrics / KPIs to identify areas of strength and improvement
- Past business operations initiatives include:
- Laying out product strategy and market opportunity for a key 2021 product launch
- Crafting Ramp’s pricing strategy from the ground up
- Running an RFP to select a key infrastructure provider for Ramp’s card business
- Defining key metrics and building dashboards to report to leadership / investors
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and/or operations / strategy at a fast-growing startup
- Exceptional ability to draw key insights from both quantitative and qualitative data
- Structured thinking with a natural capacity to distill complex concepts and effectively communicate them to various audiences
- Execution mentality with the ability to dissect problems, identify and drive solutions to completion with a high degree of autonomy
- Team-first mentality and communication skills that allow you to influence others at all levels and across all functions within the organization to rally behind shared business goals
- Demonstrated expertise with Excel and PPT
Nice to Haves
- Command of SQL, Salesforce, and other business systems and tools, or a willingness to learn
- Experience in high-growth startups and/or high-growth technology companies
- Passion for or curiosity to learn about financial technology
