The Eskasoni School Board is seeking university students, community members, and retirees interested in casual employment opportunities in various positions.
Available Roles:
- Reception
- Administrative Support
- Teachers
- Teaching Assistants (TAs)
- Early Childhood Educators
- Early Childhood Educator Assistants
- Bus Drivers
- Bus Aides
- Janitorial and Maintenance Services
- Before & Afterschool Monitors
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency with related years of work experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have post secondary education.
- Other combination of education and experience will be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of basic computer applications.
- Fluency in Mi'kmaq language an asset.
- Ability to maintain high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Self motivated
- Satisfactory Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry checks are mandatory upon hire.
