Job Vacancy: Careers Adviser (Manchester) 

Salary - £24,266 up to £27,617 (depending on experience)

Location - Manchester


We are looking to recruit a permanent Careers Adviser to join our friendly community team in Manchester. They will become part of a team that provides careers support to 16–18-year-olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to identify their career ambitions and move into fulfilling training and employment opportunities. 


This varied, interesting and rewarding role will primarily be supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and who have Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs). This role will be based at our office at The Millennium Powerhouse in Moss Side though you will work flexibly in venues in the community across Manchester.


We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic individuals who are able to build meaningful relationships with young people, helping them understand their career skills and strengths, overcome personal barriers and create a better future for themselves. Our holidays start at 25 days + Bank Holidays and we give up to an extra 6 days a year for staff with longer service.


You will have access to: Training, Career Progression, Birthday Leave, Perkbox, Green cycle to work scheme.


Salary for the role is £24,266 - £27,617 for a 35-hour week and we have great opportunities for staff training and progression.


We will also consider applications for a Trainee Careers Adviser role from applicants who hold Level 3 IAG and have relevant experience. This role would be paid at £24,052
