Position Description: 1000sq meter VIP Palace restaurant now hiring for Chefs & Sous Chefs.

 

The Chef will be responsible for menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, and kitchen sanitation. The position demands creativity on a daily basis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards.

 

Applicant should also work well under pressure, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, willing to work long hours, and have a great sense of humor. Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production in accordance with guided specifications while maintaining organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

 

Candidate must be used and willing to quickly adopt in a fast changing working environment and requirements.

 

Supervisory experience would be beneficial as well. Requirements include a Minimum 5 years of similar experience in high-end kitchens or the equivalent, European food, the ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with co-workers and executive management, a love for food, a passion for cooking, a dedicated work ethic, and strong ability to multi-task, high quality restaurant experience.

 

Culinary degree or equivalent experience is also required.

 

Other pluses include, a positive mental attitude, well groomed, and an outgoing personality.

 

 

Candidate must meet the highest standards in HACCP, GMP and kitchen/personnel hygiene.
