Asoriba is an exciting young christian software company that provides technology solutions for churches. Our maiden product, Asoriba, is a web church management software and content distribution platform for effective church management designed for leaders and a mobile app for members to receive content from their church and pay tithes and offerings.

Job Description

As our new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be directly responsible for effectively managing the financial needs and obligations of Asoriba. Your job will include leading budget determination, sanctioning spending, keeping record of both incoming and outgoing funds, and advising the directors on financial activities and obligations. You will also work closing with the CEO to develop financial models and raise investment from investors.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  1. Perform accounting and reporting duties
  2. Prepare payroll and administrative duties
  3. Formulate and advise on Asoriba budget
  4. Provide timely and accurate reporting of project finances/spending
  5. Conduct risk management
  6. Office Administration
  7. Fundraising

 

Requirements

  1. Familiar with Xero accounting software
  2. Bachelors or Masters Degree and/or certification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, and/or Business Management/Administration
  3. Knowledge of core accounting principles, financial legislations, and employment standards
  4. Successful track record in accounting and/or finance positions (preferably in managerial roles)
  5. Proficiency in computer programs for: accounting, word processing, database tasks, spreadsheet usage, e-mailing, and internet exploration
  6. Confident, driven, and dynamic leader
  7. Ability to do presentations to masses of people
  8. Skills in selling
  9. Be reliable, professional, and fun (when appropriate)
  10. You should be respectful of people’s time and worth
