Chief of Clinical Operations and Strategy, Aledade Care Solutions - Remote
We are looking for an experienced Chief of Clinical Operations and Strategy to build a new business unit from the ground up at Aledade: Aledade Care Solutions (ACS). This person will be responsible for leading the clinical strategy and execution of ACS in collaboration with the CEO and COO.
Including these specified objectives:
Build of Targeted Virtual Care Delivery Models: Oversee the building of virtual care delivery models. These models must improve patient health and increase shared savings within value arrangements. Determine the appropriate patient prioritization. Refine the virtual care model to optimize for patient health outcomes and shared savings. Engage patients virtually in the care model. Supervise the care delivery team to ensure high quality of care. Ensure proper documentation and billing. Ensure communication back to primary care practice. Evaluate care models using real-time data tracking and visualizations, measuring of key results performance indicators. Improving and learning as you build and scale.
Patient Engagement: Collaborate with key team members to build best in class patient engagement function to ensure patient participation and engagement with virtual care models
Trust Transfer: Build program competencies to enable the shift of trust from primary care practice to ACS virtual care practice
Data driven decision making: rigorous monitoring and evaluation of new care delivery models for patients and practice satisfaction, health outcomes, financial impacts and others.
Equity: equity is at the core of our work and should be embedded in all decision-making from hiring internal staff, to data stratification to resource allocation and culture sensitivity in model development, amongst others.
Scaling: Build targeted virtual care models that if found to improve health and increase shared savings can scale across all Aledade markets. Develop implementation plans in coordination with operational teams across aledade to execute scaling activities.
Clinical Team Performance: Supervise ACS clinical leadership for all programs, including monitoring and assessing performance.
Act as ACS Clinical Lead internally and externally: Oversee ACS clinical work, collaborating with VP of Clinical Programs to build and manage direct patient care programs, representing ACS across Aledade and with external stakeholders
Participate in Company Strategy: Work with ACS CEO and other leadership to determine company strategy and prioritization of patient facing interventions
Ensure Compliance: Work with Aledade legal and compliance to ensure all care delivery models meet compliance guidelines
Collaboration with Aledade, Inc: Work to collaborate with Aledade, Inc. leadership, especially with office of Aledade CMO, to ensure alignment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree and medical degree (MD/DO)
- 10+ years work experience in healthcare settings
- Experience building virtual care delivery models
- Experience leading and managing high-performing, diverse and virtual teams
- Flexibility, agility, and speed as you build trusted and high quality care models
- Ability to build trust, especially with skeptical primary care practices
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively was a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional written and verbal skills to convey complex ideas in simple and actionable ways
- Demonstrated understanding of patient needs and experience in patient outreach and engagement
All prospective hires will be required to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated, including booster shots, against COVID-19 with a COVID-19 vaccine for which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a license or an Emergency Use Authorization prior to mutually-agreed upon start date at Aledade, unless they qualify for a medical or religious accommodation to this vaccination requirement. In certain limited circumstances, Aledade will accept documented proof of prior infection with COVID-19 in lieu of a booster shot.
