Chief Revenue Officer

We are looking for a highly experienced influential, strategic B2B SaaS revenue leader to accelerate growth at Aclaimant. We recently closed a $15M Series B and are scaling our executive team to take advantage of the ripe market opportunity in front of us. We are a growth-stage SasS company enabling the future of digital risk management and setting the standard for active risk management. Our comprehensive risk management platform empowers thousands of users to improve organizational behavior, create process efficiencies, and leverage the power of data and analytics to achieve better risk management and outcomes.
The Chief Revenue Officer will report to the CEO, oversee the VP of Marketing, and Sales Directors and be responsible for overall leadership, coordination, and results of the Sales and Marketing functions. This includes but is not limited to 1) responsibility of the overall revenue strategy; 2) consistently achieving ARR targets; 3) leading overall marketing strategy and 4) influencing and evangelizing our brand. This role will be a key member of our executive leadership team.
What’s you’ll do as our Revenue leader:
- Refine, execute, accelerate and measure sales strategy. Partner with founders, directors and executive team to refine and accelerate Aclaimant’s go-to-market strategy and processes. Refine market segmentation, pricing, and sales strategies by vertical and customer persona. Drive achievement and socialization of key metrics and strategic plan.
- Achieve revenue and growth targets. Set and achieve revenue and growth targets for business through intentional and defined strategy, execution and resource coordination. Identify, evaluate and avoid market and/or industry sales blockers.
- Grow, develop and evaluate Sales and Marketing talent. Scale, train and mentor a high-performance team of sales and marketing professionals. Refine best practices and foster a productive and efficient work environment. Identify future talent needs and refine the team structure. Lead with emotional intelligence to motivate achievement.
- Advance new and existing customer and partner relationships. Get to know our current and future customers, their responsibilities and their needs. Identify, direct and streamline all revenue-generating opportunities across the organization. Build processes to identify, nurture and grow partnerships that drive opportunities and growth. Identify and unlock new revenue and growth opportunities across products, geographies, partners and verticals.
- Align sales and marketing budget with strategic plan. Allocate budget and resources to maximize growth and efficiency.
- Create and maintain equitable, competitive compensation plans and sales targets. Formulate well-defined comp/commission plans and that attract, motivate, reward and retain top talent to achieve growth strategy.
- Lead Demand Generation. Expand demand gen team and lead effort to enhance positioning, messaging and campaigns to generate demand.
- Influence product roadmap. Serve as the key advocate for targeted customers’ needs and influence the strategic direction of product development and alignment.
- Build a positive culture and maintain a code of ethical business practices. Maintain strong, ethical business practices that ensure the integrity of our operations and teams and comply with regulations. Promote diversity, equity and inclusion across the organization.
- Drive thought leadership and evangelism. Quantify, articulate, and promote Aclaimant’s value proposition across all appropriate channels.
Who you are:
- B2B Experience. A highly experienced B2B SaaS revenue leader with 15+ years of sales and marketing leadership experience.
- Education. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT or equivalent experience
- Track Record. Track record of success in leading sales and marketing organizations across multiple verticals selling into both the mid-market ($20-100k ARR) or enterprise-level ($100k+ ARR) account experience with proven track record of scaling teams from $5m to $50m in ARR.
- Leadership. Capable of leading sales and marketing functions in achieving and accelerating goals and quota. Decisive and goal-oriented to consistently exceed objectives with strong planning and organizational skills. Ability to manage, motivate and direct people.
- Results Focus. Results-focused with superior relationship building and collaborative skills at all levels, both internally and externally. Ability to identify and leverage internal resources from across an organization proactively to enhance GTM.
- Interpersonal Skills. Integrity driven, emotionally intelligent with strong and effective leadership, written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Modern Sales Approach. Understanding of modern technology and data-driven sales methodologies required, with specific experience in sales and marketing platforms and tools (Salesforce, Outreach and HubSpot platforms are a plus). Experience in designing and executing scalable and repeatable sales processes for SaaS products.
- Back Office Systems Experience. Experience selling to back office functions, in workflow platforms, data and analytics platforms and/or compliance functions is a plus
- Remote. Experience and comfort working with remote and/or distributed teams.
- Travel. Travel will be required as part of this role.
