About the Role 

As DataCamp’s Chief Revenue Officer you will own all B2B revenue generating activities. You will be accountable for top-line B2B growth, making our customer base love us, and the build out of a commercial team with high talent density. 

As the CRO you will craft, lead and implement DataCamp’s go-to-market strategy in our current market as well as in new business areas. You will gain a deep understanding of our multiple acquisition channels, including self-serve, and will manage and optimise them as well as develop new ones.  

We need someone who has experience in scaling a young B2B department to maturity, and can act as a liaison for the B2B business to the company. Ideally with a passion for the data space.

Responsibilities

  • You lead all Demand Generation, Sales, Customer Success, Support and Revenue Operations teams for our B2B business.
  • You create strategies that drive all teams to work cohesively, optimizing each to maximize revenue.
  • You work with other C-level members to optimize existing revenue models from our education product, and will be responsible for the creation of additional revenue streams from a series of new products that will be released in 2021.
  • Achieve operational excellence within our B2B revenue operations. This includes establishing new processes and refining current ones for all tasks and functions.

Qualifications

  • You have 10+ years of previous experience in senior level sales, customer success or revenue operations at a +$50M ARR, B2B SAAS company.
  • You are equally comfortable working on deal sizes of $5k, as working with deal sizes of $250k+.
  • Highly numeric, with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with go-to-market motions that rely on self-serve models and land-and-expand.
  • You have managed teams of 25 members and more in an international environment. You have experience with managing multiple management layers as well as in the training and development of sales teams
  • Exceptional at planning, you know what daily and weekly activities need to take place in order to hit targets
  • Experience at a product-driven company that is active in both B2C and B2B is a plus.
