The RealReal provides the largest selection of authenticated luxury items including men’s and women’s fashion, fine jewelry & watches, and fine art & home. Consignors earn 60+% of the sale price and items sell quickly. Its free in-home pickup service is available in 20+ major cities across the US. The fine jewelry & watch valuation offices in select cities offer people free valuations on their pieces from the company’s professional gemologists. The Consignor Relations Representative is a resourceful problem-solver with project management and negotiating skills, focusing on daily interaction with our consignors, internal teams, sales, etc. to maximize consignor satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact, identify and prioritize consignor emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Account manage and oversee issues; prioritize methods taken to solve issues
  • Ability to multitask, solve escellated issues and priorities, and work independently
  • Draft well-written emails to consignors explaining the consignment process and answering any questions that arise
  • Research and answer questions from our existing consignors regarding issues related to their accounts and payments
  • Negotiate pricing disputes and resolve concerns.
  • Resolve issues in a professional manner and diffuse any situations that may arise.
  • Work to develop a good rapport with our VIP consignors
  • Work closely with various internal departments and contacts to resolve issues
  • Ensure service information is accessible to other representatives
  • Ability to calculate commission and monthly check preparation

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service, event, account or project management skills
  • Experience with luxury goods and customers a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and excellent problem-solving skills; understand how decisions affect outcome
  • Excellent follow-through skills
  • Self-starter
  • Manage competing priorities and know when to escalate issues
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of ZenDesk and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel—ability to create and edit spreadsheets a must
  • Enjoy a fast paced environment
  • College degree preferred
