Cloud Solution Architect

TLDR

High-impact role designing cloud-native, container-based automation for enterprise-scale environments, guiding migrations to AWS/Azure and evangelizing modern DevOps practices.

Accountabilities:
  • Design and architect scalable, container-based automation and cloud-native solutions on public cloud platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise requirements and modernization goals.
  • Define and standardize development processes, automation frameworks, and tooling strategies across DevOps and cloud engineering initiatives.
  • Lead technical discussions with clients, engineering teams, and operations to translate business requirements into executable cloud architectures.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps practices, driving adoption of modern infrastructure patterns.
  • Guide cloud migration initiatives from legacy environments to AWS/Azure-based architectures, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership across deployment, monitoring, automation, and infrastructure engineering workstreams.
  • Drive workshops, presentations, and advisory sessions while evangelizing cloud-native and automation best practices across stakeholders.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise architecture and cloud engineering expertise with the ability to operate in complex, client-facing environments. You should have deep hands-on experience in designing distributed systems and modern DevOps pipelines, along with strong communication and leadership skills.

    • 8+ years of experience in enterprise environments, including client-facing delivery and solution architecture roles.
    • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, especially in Java-based ecosystems.
    • Hands-on experience with DevOps toolchains including Git/SVN, Jenkins, Maven, ANT, Sonar, and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Strong expertise in infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar IaC frameworks.
    • Practical experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS), Docker, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
    • Good understanding of SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS models, along with cloud migration strategies.
    • Familiarity with databases, messaging/streaming systems, caching layers, and distributed architectures.
    • Exposure to infrastructure and application security best practices is highly desirable.
    • AWS, RedHat, or equivalent certifications and a Master’s degree are a plus.
