Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Collection Analyst to join our Risk (Customer Value Management) team.

This role will focus on designing and optimizing collection strategies, improving recovery performance, and driving analytical initiatives across the collections lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with experience in consumer lending environments and is comfortable working with experimentation, automation, and large datasets.

You will partner closely with Risk, Operations, Tech, and Collections stakeholders to translate insights into scalable operational improvements.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in analytical roles within Collections, Credit Risk, Portfolio Management, Consumer Lending, Fintech, Banking, Credit Cards, BNPL, or SOFOM environments

  • Strong experience working with collections analytics and recovery strategies

  • Advanced SQL knowledge, including data structures, optimization, indexes, execution plans, and partitioning

  • Hands-on experience using Python for analysis, automation, and workflow optimization

  • Experience building production dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI

  • Solid understanding of experimentation methodologies, A/B testing, and collections performance metrics

  • Ability to independently manage initiatives end-to-end in fast-paced environments

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

  • Advanced English and Spanish (English is required as part of daily collaboration)

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience building simple predictive models, segmentation frameworks, scoring models, or uplift analysis

  • Active use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to accelerate analysis and automation

  • Knowledge of dialer technologies and collections operations tooling

  • Familiarity with Mexican financial and credit regulations (CNBV, CONDUSEF, Buró de Crédito)

  • Experience with Bash scripting or operational automation

  • Background in fintech, consumer lending, POS financing, or digital credit products

  • Master’s degree or MBA is a plus
