Since last March, we've scaled up while working remotely and kept a working environment that encourages collaboration and support. We always prioritise our team wellbeing and development. Everyone has the option to use our hotdesking app, Desana and, once Covid regulations ease, we’ll have a permanent office space in London for people who want to come in.

We have a fun and caring culture with lots of social activities run by our team. You can find your zen in team Yoga on Mondays, sweat it out at our Product Manager Jess's Bootcamp on Fridays (not for the faint-hearted) or join a remote chocolate tasting via Zoom. We have company socials every month and there are chances every week to sit down with someone for a cuppa and a chat.

The role in a nutshell

You’ll be joining our passionate, ambitious Sales team in an exciting, fast-paced & high-growth environment. We pride ourselves on an amazing customer experience at MyTutor with over 95% of our reviews at 5* and some great feedback on Trustpilot.

As a Consumer Sales Executive, you will be responsible for supporting our parents to find the right tutor for their child’s needs. No previous experience working in education is necessary; we have amazing in-house specialists and top talent from the industry to train you!


What you’ll do

  • Support parents in finding the right tutor for their child, using phone, email, WhatsApp, SMS and live chat
  • Cross-selling products to maximise customers long term value and meet customer’s demand
  • Building strong customer relationships by demonstrating excellent communication techniques and product expertise
  • Provide feedback about trends and patterns of parent needs to our Product and Consumer Marketing teams
  • Work with the Consumer Sales Team Lead to continuously iterate on communication and processes, to ensure we are providing the best service for parents, and the best results for the business
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to meet targets and support each other
  • Work flexible shifts - 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day to help the team meet targets

Requirements

  • You love the idea of helping parents find the perfect tutor to help their child succeed
  • You have some experience working with customers in previous sales roles
  • You’re an excellent communicator who is at ease empathising with customer needs and feels driven to help others
  • You’re confident working with each parent on a one-to-one basis, ensuring their specific questions and concerns are addressed.
  • You’re able to feedback collaboratively and effectively across teams
  • You have proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs
  • You’re resilient and consistent with ability to bounce back from setbacks and remain focused on goals
  • You are a team player - you work efficiently with a team to achieve team targets, whilst ensuring attention to detail and quality of service
