Who you are:
We are looking for a content management specialist to join the Content Curation team, which is responsible for creating and distributing shoppable content at scale on the Klarna app for 17 markets (and counting!). We combine our knowledge of market trends, merchant priorities, and the retail calendar to create engaging content that will meet every user’s interests and needs. We collaborate closely with CRM, affiliate partnerships, advertising, regional B2C, and other content teams to engage users on multiple channels and at every stage of their shopping journey.
The ideal candidate is someone who has hands-on experience in content and project management within digital marketing and can collaborate easily in a global team with stakeholders across multiple competencies.
What you will do:
The content management specialist is the key point of contact for internal and external users of the team’s CMS and other tools and is responsible for executing global content plans that will drive engagement and conversion. To be successful in this role, you will need to have exceptional organizational skills, be a natural problem-solver, and have the ability to independently prioritize work and set deadlines based on team needs.
Responsibilities
- Own publishing of curated content on the app across several markets while aligning placement inventory and timings with key marketing stakeholders across the organization.
- Oversee administration of the CMS, including granting permissions, reviewing, approving, and scheduling content.
- Organize and execute large-scale content projects with curators, copywriters, and designers, both internal and external.
- Brief external agency on image production and coordinate digital asset management as needed.
- Maintain documentation on publishing processes and best practices to help successfully and efficiently onboard new users.
- Ensure quality and consistency of imagery and copy across the content ecosystem.
- Drive process improvements to help increase the scalability of content production.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, e-commerce, media, or tech environment
- Preferred 1+ years of hands-on experience in content management
- Preferred experience in e-commerce and/or mobile app content
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Good knowledge of MS Office and/or G Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluent in English
- Ability to brainstorm creative content ideas to drive team KPIs
- A metrics-driven approach and understanding of how to optimize content
- Ability to work with globally based team members and stakeholders
- Some technical knowledge of apps and product development is a plus
